John De Giusti

Upon finishing his BA in Behavioural Sciences and Psychology at Macquarie University, John De Giusti began working for ADHC  as a Community Support Worker  (CSW) for 2 years until he saved enough money to say "its time to see the world" 

This led him back to his home country of Argentina, where he began working as an English teacher and guide in Argentina and Peru. In Peru he was blessed to be a guide in the world famous Inca Trail, where he  assisted  people on one of the worlds great walks.

Whenever he came back to Australia, he would always work in disability services, both as a  CSW with ADHC, then moving on to such distinguished and varied roles as

  • Disability Employment Consultant for Macarthur Disability Services* 

  • Disability Enterprise Manager for Windgap Foundation*

  • Transition To Work (TTW) Trainer and Marketer for Choice Solutions, a division of House With No Steps* 

  • Support Worker at Day Programs for Creativity Inc. (formerly Eastern Respite and Recreation) and Sunnyfield.

  • Volunteer Tennis Coach, Special Olympics. Volunteer Basketball Coach Special Olympics.

He has spent the last five Australian Winters leading tours to Fiji as well accompanying parents and their families to Fiji, providing direct support to family members who travel with children with disabilities.

He also specialises in one on one or group holidays in Australia and overseas.

John is a true champion of the disability carer community, earning the trust and respect of parents and fellow carers alike in over 20 years of caring for people with disabilities. He has worked with all levels of support and understands the individual needs of his clients better than most. John and his company have also appeared on publications such as the Daily Telegraph as well as the Australian Newspaper providing insight and articles on the disability sector in Australia. John holds his current First Aid Certificate, updated police checks and Working With Children Checks which are available upon request. We can also provide references from families and parents on request.
